Who is the personal data controller?

What personal customer data do we process?
Basic information – company name, address, ID number
Contact details – first name, surname, phone number, email address
Information from interactions with the customer – information from business meetings, email communication
Transaction data – information on invoices received and issued
What are the sources of the data?
We obtained the personal data mentioned in the previous point directly from you or from publicly available registers and records, e.g. from business register.
Why do we process your personal data?
Data is primarily used to fill the activities covered by the Remarkplast Group, in particular the purchase and sale of plastics, and the Group has a legitimate interest in this data.
Is there profiling or automatic decision-making in our company?
The Remarkplast Group uses neither profiling nor automatic decision-making in the processing of personal data.
How long will we process your personal data?
We will process personal data for the duration of the active cooperation and for the next 3 years after its completion.
Who can access your personal data?
The Remarkplast Group does not provide customer personal data to any third party. Only those employees who need customer information to carry out their duties have access to personal data.
What are your rights when processing personal data?
The proper processing of your personal data is important for the Remarkplast Group in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic and their protection is absolutely self-evident. You can exercise the following rights when processing personal data:
Right to information about the processing of your personal data
The information includes in particular: the identity and contact details of the controller, the purposes of the processing, the categories of the relating personal data, the information on the transfer of personal data to third-countries, the period of retention of personal data, the authorised controller, the enumeration of your rights, the possibility to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection, the source of the personal data processed, information on whether and how automated decision-making and profiling takes place.
Right to access personal data
You have the right to confirm whether or not personal data is being processed and, if so, you have access to information on the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the recipients or categories of recipients, the period of retention of personal data, information on your rights, the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, information on the source of personal data, information if we use automated decision-making and profiling, information and guarantees in case of transfering of the personal data to the third-country or international organisation. You have the right to be provided with copies of the personal data processed.
Right of correction
Do we process your out-of-date or inaccurate personal data? For example, have you changed the contact person? Please inform us and we will correct the personal data.
Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
In some statutory cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data at your behest. However, any such a request is subjected to individual evaluation, as the Remarkplast Group also has an obligation or a legitimate interest to retain personal data.
Right to restrict processing
If you wish us to process your personal data solely for the necessary legal reasons or wish to block your personal data.
Right to data portability
If you wish us to provide your personal data to another controller or other company, we will transfer your personal data in the appropriate format to the specified subject, as long as no legal or other significant obstacles prevent us from doing so.
The right to object and automated individual decision-making
Should you find out, or just believe, that we are processing personal data in breach of your privacy or in breach of law, please contact us for an explanation or removal of the faulty data.
You can also object directly to automated decision-making and profiling.
Right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection
You may at any time refer your complaint regarding the processing of personal data to the supervisory authority, namely the Office for Personal Data Protection, with its registered office: pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, website https://www.uoou.cz/.
Where can you exercise your rights and are these rights charged?
You can exercise individual rights with each of Remarkplast Group company by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
We provide all communications and representations about your exercised rights free of charge. However, should the request be manifestly unfounded or unreasonable, in particular because it would be repeated, we are entitled to charge a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs involved in providing the information requested. In case of repeated application to provide copies of the personal data processed, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for administrative costs for this reason.
How long before you can expect a response from Remarkplast?
We will provide you with comments and, where appropriate, information on the measures taken as soon as possible, but not later than in one month. We are entitled to extend the time limit by one month if necessary taking into account the complexity and number of applications. We will inform you of the extension, including the reasons for it.
